Florian Koep hit six 3’s on Thursday night, finishing with 18 points to lead Parkers Prairie to a 57-44 Little Eight Conference boys’ basketball victory over Brandon-Evansville.

Micah Arens, Spencer Yohnke and Josh Helling contributed 10 points each for the Panthers.

Leaders for Brandon-Evansville were Marshall Riedel with 15 and Keagan Schiele with 13.

“I thought we didn't play composed for the whole game,” said Parkers Prairie Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “We played well the first 10 minutes of the game and the first 5 minutes of the second half, besides that Parkers dictated what we did and that can't happen against good teams if we want to win.”

Parkers Prairie (11-3, 5-1 LEC) snapped a two game losing skid with the win. They will host Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Friday night.

The Chargers (8-5, 4-2 LEC) will play at Battle Lake on Friday.
