Jaden led all scorers with 22 points. Hunter Norby reached double figures netting 13 points. Torin Olson made two three pointers for six points. Jacob Cook made a three point basket and two free throws before injuring an ankle midway through the second half. Noah Johnson finished out the scoring with 3 points. Ashton Ecker, Derrek Bartz, and Bobby Anderson contributed valuable minutes off the bench. Daniel Milander and Matt Thompson led the Owls with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
“We had a 30-20 lead late in the first half but Hancock seized momentum of the game during a 20-4 run,” recalled Ashby Head Coach John Holsten. “Their activity on defense caused us to turn the ball over and shoot poorly. We managed to take better care of the ball and got some big stops at the end.”
The victory makes the Arrows overall record 10-3. They host the Underwood Rockets Friday night.
