The first half was a back-and-forth effort with Fergus Falls holding a 26-22 lead. The Otters scored the first nine points of the second half to take control and built the lead to 28 points at one time. Sabrina Fronning joined Colbeck in double figures with 12 points and Paige Pearson added 8 points. Fergus Falls had only two turnovers in the second half, finishing with 9 for the game.
Brainerd made eight 3’s in the contest, led by Myah Nelson’s four. Nelson had a team high 15 points on the night.
Fergus Falls (14-1) won their fourteenth straight game and will travel to Alexandria for a game against the Cardinals on Friday night.
