“We got off to a good start as we led 19-0 to start the game,” said Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We didn’t shoot the ball well from the perimeter, but did a decent job getting to the basket and also converting on some free throws.”
Blake Wallevand had a team high 18 points, while adding 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Parker Fraki added 13 points and 6 rebounds, Isaac Fisher had 12 points, 7 assists and 5 steals, and Blaine Wallevand contributed 10 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
The Hornets (14-1) have another Park Region Conference home game Thursday vs. Menahga as part of a boys/girls double header. The boys varsity game is scheduled to tip at 6:00 PM followed by the girls.
