“We had a hard time knocking down shots consistently against their zone defense and they really took away the paint from us as we got nothing going to the basket,” said Pelican Rapids Head Coach John Gullingsrud.  “They were able to get the game to be played at their pace as well as our defense wasn’t able to give us a spark either.”

Logan Fahje scored 14 points to lead the Vikings and Logan Petznick added 9.

NCE-UH was led by Broden Lien with 26 and Logan Miller with 10.

Pelican Rapids (10-5) will host the Perham Yellowjackets on Thursday, January 23.

Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal improved to 10-3 with the win.  They will play a road game against Ada-Borup on Friday night.
