“The girls had a great defensive effort tonight,” commented Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso. “We jumped out to an early lead and never slowed down, taking a 33-15 lead into the half. In the second half, we were able to maintain the same lead throughout and get the 19 point win.”
Makenna Tysdal led the lady Battlers with 14 points, while Halie Johnson and Grace VanErp added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Lora Botker led C-G-B with 11 points.
Battle Lake (5-8) will travel to Brandon on Thursday to face the Brandon-Evansville Chargers.
Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley (6-5) will host West Central Area on Friday night.
