Jude Held and Grace Conzemius led the Cowgirls with 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Hillcrest was led by Mackenzie Foss (14 points, 8 rebounds), Anna Rasmussen (10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals), Cassy Twedt (7 points, 5 rebounds) and Audra Ewan (6 points).

“I am proud of how hard the team played,” said Hillcrest Head Coach Hannah Clark.  “Breck is a tall, physical team and I thought our girls came prepared for the challenge.  We played great team basketball and everyone contributed.  Anna and Mackenzie did a great job being aggressive and attacking the basket.  Cassy and Audra both confidently looked for opportunities to score and it was fun to see them knock down their shots.”

Breckenridge (7-7) will host Barnesville next Tuesday night.

Hillcrest (0-10) will entertain Parkers Prairie on Thursday night.
