Henning hit 46% of their field goal attempts, making 59% of their 2’s on Tuesday night as the Hornets dominated Wadena-Deer Creek with a 73-40 victory.

Parker Fraki had a team high 24 points, gathered 5 rebounds, came up with 6 steals and distributed 3 assists.  Isaac Fisher scored 16 points, had 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists, and Blaine Wallevand finished with 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting to lead the Hornets.  Blake Wallevand dished out a team high 8 assists in the game.

“Coming off a couple big wins last week, we started a bit slow and lacked some focus and intensity to begin the game,” said Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We made a nice run to close the first half and extend the lead going into the break. We then had a very nice stretch, turning defense into offense, to start the second half and put them away. We created a lot of chaos with our D.”

Henning will take a 10-1 record into their Saturday afternoon tip-off at New York Mills, facing an Eagles team that is 7-1 and coming off a 91-80 win over Pillager on Tuesday night.
