“Coming off a couple big wins last week, we started a bit slow and lacked some focus and intensity to begin the game,” said Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We made a nice run to close the first half and extend the lead going into the break. We then had a very nice stretch, turning defense into offense, to start the second half and put them away. We created a lot of chaos with our D.”
Henning will take a 10-1 record into their Saturday afternoon tip-off at New York Mills, facing an Eagles team that is 7-1 and coming off a 91-80 win over Pillager on Tuesday night.
