Leading scorers for the Cowboys were Cooper Yaggie with 17 and Jonah Christensen with 11. Leading rebounders were Tyson Piechowski with 6 and Christensen with 5. Yaggie led the team with 4 assists.

"We put ourselves in a tough situation by getting down early in the first half,” commented Breckenridge Assistant Coach Derek Grahn. “We were able to show a lot of toughness to battle back but weren't able to quite get over the hump. It was a physical game with a lot of 50-50 plays that we just weren't able to come up with down the stretch. We pick up play on Saturday in Perham against Cass Lake in the Breakdown tournament in what should be a fun January game."
