Greta Tollefson scored 25 points to lead the Pelican Rapids girls’ basketball team to a 48-35 win over the Underwood Rockets on Saturday. With the victory the lady Vikings captured the Valhalla Division championship at their Holiday Basketball Tournament and improved their season record to 9-0.
Other statistical leaders were Maddie Guler (7 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals), Anna Stephenson (7 points, 7 rebounds) and Chloe Paulson (7 points).
Pelican Rapids will host Wadena-Deer Creek on Friday night.
Underwood (3-5) will play at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Friday night and will host Ortonville on Saturday afternoon.
