Fergus Falls and Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta went back-and-forth for the majority of their game in the Otter Boys Holiday Classic championship game on Saturday. There were 14 lead changes and five ties in the contest, which Fergus Falls won by the score of 72-68, improving to 6-2.
Junior guard Dominic Aguilar poured in 29 points, 18 of them in the second half, to lead Fergus Falls. Aguilar knocked down five of the Otters seven treys on the day. Chance Fazio scored 14 and Ethan Olson added a dozen. Aguilar and Olson were named to the All-Tournament team.
Jackson Loge led the Tigers with 31 points, giving him 60 points in his two tournament games, making the All-Tournament team along with Thomas Tiernan who finished with 12 points in the game. Durgin Decker added 14.
Fergus Falls will resume play on Friday at Alexandria.
