Brandon-Evansville struggled with their shooting on Tuesday night as they hit just 23% (13-55) of their field goal attempts and made only 1-of-14 (7%) from beyond the arc in their 62-34 loss to Hancock in a high school girls’ basketball game in Hancock.

“We shot extremely poor from everywhere on the floor tonight,” said Chargers Head Coach Zach Traphagen. “The other thing we didn't do a great job of was cutting down on careless turnovers. I thought we had some vested effort put forth by the girls, but execution was not very good. As a competitor, you can't ever be okay with losing by 28 points.”

Mikenna Pattrin (14 points, 11 rebounds) led Brandon-Evansville with a double-double.  Bailey Schaefer scored 10 points and came up with 6 steals.

B-E is 6-3 overall and 3-0 in the Little Eight Conference.  They will play at Ortonville on Friday night.
