Ellie Andersen scored both Fergus Falls goals on Tuesday night, reaching 100 career points in the process and leading the Otters to a 2-0 home ice win over Northern Lakes.

Jade Zierden and Chloe Nelson assisted on Andersen’s first goal of the night, which came at 9:24 of the first period.  Her second goal came at twenty seconds of the third period.

“This was a great team effort from the goalie through the forwards,” said Fergus Falls Head Coach Tim Lill.  “Our forecheck created many opportunities and pinned them in the defensive zone for the majority of the game.”

Fergus Falls had 35 shots on goal and Northern Lakes put 16 pucks on the Otter net, where Lexi Metcalf stopped all of them.

Fergus Falls (6-7) will host Alexandria on Thursday night at the Community Ice Arena.
