Diang Gatluak and Khari Broadway led NDSCS with 17 and 16 points, respectively. Mohamed Kone had a solid floor game with 6 points, 6 assists, 4 steals and 5 rebounds.
M State shot just 25.5% (13-51) from the field and lost the rebounding battle 43-30. The Spartans were led by James Hobson with 17 points and Alend Alemadi with 16. Christian Norby had a team high 10 rebounds, Alemadi led with 3 steals and Alex Hendricks dished out 3 assists.
M State (4-5) will play Central Lakes in Brainerd on Friday night and will travel to Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College on Saturday afternoon.
