VanVoorhis Stops 17 Shots as Otters Blank Storm

Fergus Falls senior Scott VanVoorhis stopped all seventeen shots he faced on Thursday night and the Otters put 47 shots on the Sauk Rapids-Rice net in a 4-0 home ice victory.

 

Following a scoreless first period, Noah Tarczon scored the first goal of the night at 9:03 of the second with assists from Isaac Johnson and Cole Zierden

In the third period, Isaac Young scored from Tarczon at 3:18 to make it 2-0.  A Landon Thacker goal from Isaac Johnson and Michael DeBrito gave the Otters a 3-0 cushion at 8:46.  Young completed the scoring with his second of the night at 14:35, setup by DeBrito.

Fergus Falls (2-2) will host Little Falls at 4:30pm Saturday at the Community Ice Arena.
