The Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley boys’ basketball team will need to replace a pair of 4-year contributors with the loss of Caleb Cardwell (14ppg) and Sam Adelman (12ppg, 10rpg) to graduation, however, they do return three starters and five letter winners from their team a year ago.

Junior Nate Moberg (Point Guard), sophomore Chuck Kleindl (Guard/Forward) and freshman Cole Gilsdorf (Guard) come back with varsity starting experience.  They are joined by fellow letter winners Alex Sigler (SR, Forward) and Isaac Haanen (SO, Guard/Forward).

Senor Casey Dahl (Guard/Forward), junior Taylor Seifert (Forward/Center) and sophomore Ryan Geray (Forward/Center) will all be expected to step into varsity roles.

“Our strengths will be team chemistry, speed, scrappy play and unlimited shooting range,” said second year Head Coach Ethan Pearson.  “Our lack of size and depth will hurt us and we will need to improve our patience and shooting accuracy.”

Rick Gilsdorf will assist Pearson.

Pearson says West Central Area, Ashby and Parkers Prairie are teams to beat in Section 6A with the Knights being joined by Hancock and Ortonville as the top teams in the Pheasant Conference.
