The Rothsay boys’ basketball team lost 3-year starter Parker Keep to graduation, however, they return three starters from last year’s team.

Head Coach Taylor Fuhs, now in his fifth season, welcomes back senior guard Ethan Curtis, junior guard Colby Larson and sophomore guard Tanner Heier as starters, and fellow letter winner Noah Fiedler, a senior forward.

Three sophomores, Jett Kulack (Center), Sam Danielson (Guard) and Chris Carrillo (Guard) are expected to step into varsity roles for the Tigers.

“We are extremely young and our number are not high,” said Coach Fuhs.  “We only have two seniors and one junior, but we are not using that as an excuse. We are hoping for our upper classmen and experienced players to lead us and they will need to lead our younger players that will be thrown into the fire early in the year.”

Fuhs will be assisted by Chris Heier.

“Parkers Prairie and Brandon-Evansville both return a lot of senior talent and seem to be at the top of the Little Eight Conference,” reported Coach Fuhs.  “Henning will be the team to beat after their remarkable season last year and the fact that they return many talented players.”
