The Fergus Falls football team finished their season with a record of 5-5, tying for third place in their District with Pequot Lakes and Perham with a District record of 4-3. The Otters were the number four seed in Section 8AAA, hosting a first round playoff game against East Grand Forks. On Sunday, November 3, the Otters celebrated their season with their awards banquet.
28 Letter winners were recognized and six Otters were honored with All-Midwest District Academic awards which are handed out to letter winners with a 3.7 GPA or higher. Recipients of the award were Parker Jacobs, Andrew Johnson, Lucas Oliphant, Austin Rinke, Jack Uhrich and Cole Zierden.
All-Midwest District players were Parker Jacobs, Cody Norgren, Brock Kotschevar and Ethan Olson. Gus Gerhardson, Kaden Hartwell and Abel Aho were All-Midwest District Honorable Mention selections.
Parker Jacobs received the Dan Prischmann Memorial Award and Scholarship.
