“What a fast meet we had today in Alexandria,” said Fergus Falls Head Coach Joyce Monk.  “Even though we ended up 8th out of 9 teams, we are honored to celebrate the SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD, which is voted on by the swimmers within the conference.”

“Some of our highlights included Tess Seay (6:55.52) swimming season best time in the 500 free, Alexis Wellman (6:54.63) in the 500 free, Annie Mayer (1:22.82) in 100 breast, Karlie Petersen in 100 Breast (1:25.75) and 100 free (1:11.00). Emma Koeckeritz did a good job in 50 free holding her seasonal best time of 27.2.  We had a good meet, however, we swam tired, indicative of the time of the season. Moving forward, we are ready to pull back in training in preparation for the sectional meet in Grand Rapids November 8 and 9.”
