“The Owls played a great opening set and the Battlers struggled to find any rhythm,” reported Battle Lake Head Coach Jenny Roisum. 

The Battlers regrouped in set 2 taking a 14-9 lead but the Owls stormed back pulling ahead 18-17.   The Battlers would not back down tying the match at 24 and 25.  The Owls were able to finish set 2 with a kill.  Set 3 started off well again for the Battlers taking a 10-6 lead but again the Owls stormed back and the momentum just would not stay with the Battlers.  

Ady Tysdal led the Battlers with 7 kills and was 9/9 serving.  Makenna Tysdal had 19 digs on the night while Grace Van Erp and Halie Johnson each added 5 kills.  Kate Christensen had 10 kills and was 19/19 serving on the night.
