M State freshman Bailey Marty from Chokio has been named the Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.
Marty had a total of 96 digs in 3 matches for the Spartans, with highs of 38 and 41 digs against St. Cloud and Western Tech. She also had a total of eight aces with a high of four against Rochester.
