The Otter varsity bowlers swept all three matches on Sunday, and find themselves back in first place with one regular season meet to go.  In the JV division, FF JV Black holds a two win lead over FF JV Maroon.

The Otter varsity took on conference-leader New York Mills in match one.  The contest started much as it did two weeks earlier with the teams trading wins, and the match coming down to a deciding game five.  Then, it was New York Mills coming through for the victory.  However, on Sunday, the Otters would string together five strikes to start the fifth game, and finished it with four in a row at the end, for a 244, and a decisive win.  Dylan Obowa led the way at 92% fills, with Zach Kort at 90%.  Jasmine Benjamin and Keisen Wick were both a perfect 100% in a 5-0 win over Detroit Lakes in match two.  New York Mills dropped their second match to the host team, Wadena, which put the Otters back on top of the conference.  Fergus Falls would then take on Wadena in the final match of the day, taking care of business with a 5-0 win.  Obowa (90%), Wick (90%), and Kaitlyn Krensing (87%) were team-high in the win.

FF JV Black defeated Detroit Lakes JV, 5-0, in match one.  Alayna Price was team-high with 75% fills.  Matthew Tungseth (80%) and Ryder Drayton (75%) led the team to a 5-0 win over Perham JV in match two, and Mackinzie Brist (75%) and Tungseth (70%) led the way in a 3-2 win over Bemidji JV.

FF JV Maroon topped FF JV Silver, 5-0, in their first match. Sara Johnson (63%) and Joe Rogal (60%) were team-high in the win. It was Johnson (63%) again as JV Maroon beat New York Mills JV, 4-0-1, in match two. Amelia Eide (60%) led the team to a 4-1 win over Perham JV to complete the sweep.

FF JV Gold beat Perham JV in match one, 5-0, with Alex Benjamin leading the team at 80%.  Abby Tungseth (66%) was team-high in a 3-2 win over Detroit Lakes JV in match two, and Nolan Korby (55%) was high fill percentage in a close, 2-3 loss to FF JV Silver.

FF JV Silver was led by Braden Albert (50%) in the 0-5 opening match loss to FF JV Maroon.  Taylen Arndt (70%) was team-high in a 2-3 loss to Bemidji JV in match two, and Byron Bray (50%) led JV Silver in the 3-2 win over JV Gold in the final match.

The final regular season meet will be on Sunday, October 27, in Perham.
