Brandon-Evansville sued a balanced offensive attack in their 54-8 win over United North Central on Friday night in Brandon.  The Chargers compiled a total of 414 yards with 230 coming on the ground and 184 through the air, recording twenty first downs in the process.

"Great game tonight in the cold,” said Head Coach Tim Pattrin of Brandon-Evansville.  “The line blocked well and created a lot of space for our backs.  We threw the ball well and had some great catches.  The D was lights out once again and flew to the ball."

B-E scored their first touchdown with four minutes left in the first quarter when Cade Carlson ran six yards for a score.  Marshall Riedel took the ball into the end zone for the two point conversion to give the Chargers an 8-0 lead.  With just 15 seconds remaining in the quarter Keagan Schiele completed a 50 yard TD pass to Kyle Schaffran and Carlson increased the lead to 16-0 with the two-point conversion run.

Riedel’s four yard TD run with 5:30 left in the half made the score 22-0 and with 2:15 to play Riedel scored on a ten yard run, adding the two-point conversion to put the Chargers halftime lead at 30-0.

At 10:30 of the third quarter Schiele scored on a 33 yard run and Tanner Bitzan carried the ball for the two-point conversion.  With nine minutes left Bitzan scored on a fifteen yard run and Carlson added the two-points, and at the four minute mark it was Tyler Bitzan scoring on a one yard run with John Roers adding the two-point conversion.

United North Central got their lone touchdown with 9:30 remaining in the fourth quarter when Kolby Kiser hooked up with Tyce Lee on a 30 yard TD pass.  Jonah Howard scored the two-point conversion for the Warriors.

Schiele completed 7-of-8 passes for 184 yards and also had 45 rushing yards on 3 carries.  The leading rusher for the Chargers was Carlson who ran the ball ten times for 91 yards.  Schaffran caught two passes for 92 yards and Riedel had 3 catches for 56 yards.  Defensively, Carlson was in on 6.5 tackles and Roers added 4 solo tackles.

For UNC, Kiser completed 7-of-17 passes for 83 yards, Howard ran for 86 yards on 22 carries, and Lee led the receivers with 2 catches for 47 yards.
