Hillcrest’s lone goal came when the Comets were down two goals.  Kristian Maestad connected on a free kick from just outside the box at 34 minutes.  PRHS added a goal just before the half making it 3-1.  Four Pelican Rapids goals in the second half sealed the win for the Vikings.

“They are a good team with quick ball movement,” said HLA Head Coach Rod Jensen.  “Our lack of ball pressure let them pick us apart, time and time again this afternoon.”

The Comets, now 5-3-1, take on the Fergus Falls Otters, Monday at 3:30pm at Hillcrest.
