Ethan Olson scored the first Fergus Falls touchdown on a six yard run and Andrew Starzl added the extra-point kick.  Abel Aho’s 12 yard TD run, followed by a Starzl PAT kick gave the Otters a 14-0 lead.  The Prowlers scored a late first quarter touchdown on an 8 yard pass from Grant Hartmann to Aaron Bruggeman, and added an extra-point kick by Simon Thoemke, ending the quarter with a 14-7 Fergus Falls lead.

The Otters increased their lead to 21-7 when Olson scored on a 12 yard run and Starzl once again booted the extra point.  A nine yard run by Hartmann and an extra point kick by Thoemke cut the lead to 21-14 at the half.

Landon Thacker scored the lone second half touchdown on a 20 yard run in the third quarter.  Starzl made his fourth PAT kick of the game to tack on the final point.

“We put some nice drives together without punching it in,” said Head Coach Steve Olson of Fergus Falls.  “Some penalties hurt us when we had those opportunities.  It was good to be able to control the clock a bit with our running game.”

The Otters (2-3) will play at Park Rapids next Friday.
