The Hillcrest Lutheran Academy volleyball team played host to Hancock on Tuesday night at the Kennedy Secondary School Gold Gymnasium.  The Owls dispatched the Comets in three sets, 25-15, 25-17, 26-24.

“Our seniors did a good job of leading tonight,” commented Hillcrest Head Coach Debi Foss. “Amanda Dekok and Olivia Stanton led with 7 serving points each. Kate Peterson added 5 serving points.  Molly McGuire and Marie Ruud each added 4 kills to the match. Audra Ewan led with 9 set assists. As a team we had 61 digs lead by Mackenzie Foss with 14, Madison Foss 12, and Maria Ruud 12.

“It took us until the third set to get some rhythm going with the girls,” said Coach Foss. “Hancock did a nice job at the net and moving the ball around. We finally have a day off tomorrow and then we travel to Battle Lake on Thursday.”

No Hancock stats have been reported.
