Otters Lose in 4 Sets to Brainerd

The Fergus Falls volleyball team lost in four sets to Brainerd in a Central Lakes Conference road match on Tuesday night, falling 25-15, 25-15, 27-25.

"Brainerd is a very good team, but I thought our girls battled throughout the match and got better with each set," stated Fergus Falls Head Coach Renee Erickson.  "We were right there in the last set and I'm proud of the way they played tonight."

Leaders for the Otters were Jade Zierden (7/8 serving, 7 digs, 3 kills, 1 block), Katie Strommen (5 kills, 4/4 serving), Sabrina Fronning (7 kills, 7/8 serving, 14 digs), Hannah Prody (2.5 blocks, 3 kills, 5/6 serving), Paige Pearson (12/12 serving), Logan Strom (7 digs) and Laci Strom (16 set assists, 13/15 serving, 5 aces).

The Otters will host Willmar on Thursday night.
