“We were really looking forward to Henning coming to town tonight,” said Head Coach Kelly Olson of B-E. “They are a very good team who is balanced all the way around with a solid identity. Although we ended up losing in three, the first two sets were competitive, and we were right there with them. I think a play here or there, or a few less missed serves, we may have taken a set. They are ranked for a reason, and we were pleased to play them tonight the way we did. Coming off this game we definitely have a better compass bearing on what we have to do to get better.”
Serving leaders were Korrie Randt (10/10), Brittany Korkowski (10/10, 1 ace), Bailey Schaefer (8/9) and Mikenna Pattrin (11/13, 2 aces). As a team the Chargers served 89.3% (50/56).
Other statistical leaders were Schaefer (9 kills, 8 digs), Pattrin (6 kills), Kailee Klimek (8 digs, 2 aces) and Randt (4 digs, 19 set assists).
