“We played against a great team and a well-developed program tonight,” noted Hillcrest Head Coach Debi Foss.  “They consistently hit the ball hard, ran a quick offense in the middle, and served the ball very well at us.  We struggled with our defense at the net as well as getting the opportunities to put the ball down on their side.  The girls had some strong moments tonight and showed improvement from last week’s matchup against Pelican Rapids.”

The Comets were led by Madi Foss (2 kills, 10 digs), Maria Ruud (2 kills, 3 digs), Olivia Stanton (5 set assists, 7 digs), Molly McGuire (2 kills, 2 digs), Mackenzie Foss (2 kills, 12 digs) and Audra Ewan (5 set assists, 2 digs).

“We look forward to our next opponent as we play the Underwood Rockets on Thursday,” said Foss.  “Due to repairs being made to the Hillcrest gym floor, that game has been moved to Underwood.”
