The 15U Fergus Falls Otters traveled North on I-94 to Barnesville on Monday night and were able to sneak out with a 6-1 victory in a game shortened to 6 innings due to the weather.

Hits were hard to come by for both teams as the Otters were able to take advantage of a handful of walks and miscues, scoring 6 runs on 4 hits in the game.  The Otters played some small ball, bunting and stealing, keeping Barnesville on their toes all night in the field.

For the Otters, Carter Thielke pitched 5 innings, yielding 1 run on 2 hits, striking out 8 and walking 2.  Kaden Conklin came on in relief, striking out 2 of the three batters he faced in the 6th inning before the teams cleared the field due to lightning and the storm coming in from the west.

Andrew Johnson, Cole Wentworth, Taeren Holdeman, and Kaden Conklin led the Otters at the plate with one hit each.  Adam King and Carter Thielke each had two walks, with Bailey Culbertson, Andrew Johnson, and Taeren Holdeman each adding an RBI.

The 15U Otters improve to 10-2 on the season and are set to host Moorhead1 on Wednesday and PRBA on Thursday in LRBR action this week.
