Game 1 saw starting pitcher Kacey Fredrickson (2.2IP, 4K, 9BB, 3H, 9R, 5ER) struggling to find her control.   The Stingers only managed 3 hits but with 9 walks and 5 defensive errors it put Fergus in an uphill battle that they couldn't overcome. Offensive leaders for Fergus Falls were  Rylynn Krein (1-1, R, BB), Caitlin Adkins (1-1, R, BB) and Fredrickson (1-2, R, SB).

In the game two victory Rylynn Krein (5IP, 5K, 8BB, 3H, 8R, 7ER) earned the win in the circle. Offensive leaders were Macie Becker (2-2, R, 2B, 4RBI), Krein (1-1, 2R, RBI), Madison Ballweg (1-1, R), Adkins (1-1, R) and Fredrickson (1-2, R, 2B, RBI).

The next games for the 14U team will be this Saturday in the Perham tournament followed by Monday night league games at Mickelson Field in Fargo.
