Izic Albright threw a shutout on Monday, leading the Ottertail Central Raptors to a 21-0 win over Wheaton.

A 12-run fourth inning propelled the Raptors to the win.  Albright went five innings, allowing one hit, while striking out eight and issuing no walks.

Hunter Haugen went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the OTC offense which compiled 11 hits on the day.  Wyatt Severson and Albright each racked up multiple hits for the Raptors.

“Izic really came out and attacked the strike zone today,” commented OTC Head Coach Evan Meece.  “He did a great job keeping Wheaton off the bases as a runner never got past second base.  Our bats were really solid as well, tallying 11 hits.  Up and down the order we put together great at-bats, only striking out twice in the game.”

OTC will now have a week off before DGF comes to Battle Lake on Monday, June 17.
