The Ottertail Central Raptors grabbed the lead late in the game Monday as they rallied to beat Parkers Prairie 8-4 in Babe Ruth Baseball action.

The game was tied 4-4 with OTC batting in the bottom of the sixth when Izic Albright knocked in a pair of runs with a single.  OTC added two more in the inning.  Hunter Haugen got the scoring started with an RBI ground out in the first inning.  Albright, Haugen, Reed Solberg, Nathan Brock and Jayden Harig each had hits for the Raptors.

Tyson Misegades (2IP, 0R, 1H, 2K) got the win in relief of starter Izic Albright (5IP, 6H, 4R, 5K, 1BB).

“This was a great team win and a great way to start off the season on a high note,” commented OTC Head Coach Evan Meece.  “Izic came out and pitched a great game, followed by Tyson who shut the door.  Everyone contributed and we battled to a strong victory.  Our defensive effort and some timely, quality at bats got the team a win.”
