Teigen Moritz led the West Crentral Area Knights to a 4-2 win over Ottertail Central on Thursday. Moritz surrendered two runs on two hits over six-and-a-third innings, striking out nine batters. Tanner Bennett threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen, earning the save.
Cole Brandner took the loss for the Bulldogs. Brandner lasted six innings, allowing four this and four runs while striking out five.
Drake Larsen led the Bulldogs at the plate with two hits in three at bats.
West Central Area didn’t commit a single error in the field.
