Alexandria won the Central Lakes Conference Girls Golf title at Wapicada Golf Course in St. Cloud on Tuesday.  Second place went to Brainerd (355), followed by Willmar (366), Sartell (376) and Fergus Falls (401).

Medalist honors were shared by Ciara O’Connor of the Cardinals and Anna Krieger of the Warriors, with rounds of 83.  Greta Christenson finished 6th overall in the conference, shooting an 89 to pace the Otters.

Other Fergus Falls scores included a 97 from Ellia Soydara, a 106 from Lexi McGary, a 109 from Thea Eklund and a 113 from Annika Jyrkas.

“The girls did a nice job in the wind and the course playing as long as it did with all the rain they received,” commented Head Coach Ben Jurgens.  “Lexi, Thea and Annika gained more varsity experience and Ellia hit a lot of really nice shots and as she proved yesterday has low numbers in her. And Greta didn't feel like she played well at all and still shot an 89.  Greta also received the Central Lakes Conference honor of being named to the All-Conference Team.”
