Haire Wins 3200 Meter Run to Lead Cowboys at HOL Meet

Breckenridge senior Zach Haire won the 3200 meter run on Tuesday at the Heart O’ Lakes Conference boys track and field meet with a time of 10:07.95.  The Cowboys scored 40 team points and placed fifth.  Perham won the event with 158 points and D-G-F was second with 150.50.

Hunter Gowin of Breckenridge was runner-up in the 800 meter run (2:02.60) and Haire placed fourth in the 1600 meter run (4:43.20).  Austin Snobl finished fifth in the 300 meter hurdles (44.27) and sixth in the 110 meter hurdles (16.17).  Samuel Bakken took fifth in the long jump (18-09.25).

In the shot put, Gavin Johnson was fourth (40-05.00) and Carter Fredericksen fifth (40-05.00).  Jonah Christenson was sixth (112-06.50) and Fredericksen eighth (109-04) in the discus.

In the relay races the Cowboys were fifth in the 4x200 (1:38.64) and 4x800 (9:13.71) and seventh in the 4x400 (3:55.94).

For the Cowgirls, Madison Rabbithead placed eighth in the 800 meter run (2:38.14) and the long jump (14-07).  Riley Finkral was seventh in the long jump (14-08) and Grace Conzemius placed seventh in the high jump (4-10) and seventh in the 400 meter dash (1:04.95).  McKynzie Meyer took seventh place in the 100 meter dash (13.33) and the Cowgirls came in third in the 4x100 relay (53.65), third in the 4x200 relay (1:51.77), seventh in the 4x400 relay (4:29.96) and seventh in the 4x800 relay (11:43.66).
