Perham Remains Unbeaten with Two Wins Against Frazee

The Perham baseball team ran their record to 14-0 with a pair of wins over Frazee on Tuesday.  The Yellowjackets won the opener by a score of 18-1 and the nightcap by a score of 15-4.

Maddux Kovash (3-4) had a single, triple and home run, driving in six runs and scoring twice to lead Perham in the first game.  Bensen Nyhus drove in three runs and scored twice.  Max Tostenson went 2-for-2 with a run batted in and two runs scored.  Perham only had seven hits but drew eleven walks and had four hit batters.  Sam Still (4IP, 2H, 0ER, 0BB, 4K) was the winning pitcher.SB,

Leading hitters in game two were Still (2-5, 4RBI, R, 2B, SB), Kovash (3-4, 2B, SB, 2RBI, 3R), Nyhus (1-1, 2RBI, R) and Dawson Stevens (2-2, 2R, SB).  The win went to Michael Benke (3IP, 5H, 2ER, 5K, 0BB).  Steve Lindberg (3IP, 3H, 2R, 0ER, 2BB, 2K) finished up on the mound.
