Bulldogs Fall to Braves in 5 Inning Contest

The Ottertail Central baseball team struggled to put runs on the board Tuesday against Menahga and the Braves put up 12 runs to claim a 12-2 five inning victory over OTC.

 

Lars Keranen pitched Menahga to victory. He allowed five hits and one run over four innings, striking out three.  Tom Litzau threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

 

Kayne Cameron took the loss for Bulldogs. He went two and a third innings, allowing 11 runs on ten hits.

 

Drake Larsen, Cameron, Nate Stavaas, Daxton Olson, and Dylan Trana each collected one hit to lead the Bulldogs at the plate.


Menahga collected 12 hits on the day.  Corey Haataja led the Braves with three hits.  Charlie Hodge, Lars Keranen and Jack Pietila each had two hits.
