Fergus Falls finished thirteenth out of seventeen teams with 22 points at the TK Last Chance Track and Field meet Monday at Jake Christiansen Stadium at Concordia College in Moorhead. West Fargo won the event with 84 and there was a tie for second between West Fargo Sheyenne and Milnor-Wyndmere-Lidgerwood with 79 points.
The Otter boys 4x800 relay team of Joe Eberle, Conrad Lobb, Shane Zierden and Matthew Oehler claimed third place (9:03.38). The 4x400 relay team of Matthew Oehler, Tyler Hansen, Dominic Aguilar and Joe Eberle was fifth (3:47.68), while the 4x100 relay team of Keisen Wick, Robert Sewell, De’Shawn Wallace and Luke Newman took sixth (47.13).
Robert Sewell was the top individual performer with a fifth place in the 100 meter dash (11.67), and Joe Eberle finished eighth in the 400 meter dash (55.48). In the high jump, Luke Newman was seventh (5-10.00) and Tyler Hansen was ninth (5-08.00). De’Shawn Wallace was seventh in the pole vault (11-00.00). Shane Wahlund took ninth in the discus (116-11.00).
