Winning pitcher Mikenna Pattrin allowed just one hits in five innings of work on Monday and the Brandon-Evansville softball team collected 16 runs on 20 hits in their 16-1 victory over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross.

Pattrin (3-4, 4R, 2RBI, 2B), Kristen Kokett (3-4, 3R, 2B), Alena Shores (3-4, 3R, 3RBI), Korrie Randt (3-4, 3RBI), Christine Roers (1-1, 2RBI), Kaylee Bitzan (2-3, RBI, R) and Bailey Schaefer (1-3, 2R) led the Chargers offensively.

"This was an all around well played game for our team from start to finish," said Head Coach Kasi Sieling of B-E.  "It was great to see so many of our players getting solid contact and hitting the ball hard.  All players on our roster had opportunities tonight and made the most of them, which is exciting to see at this point in the season.  Defensively, we played a clean game to back up a good performance in the circle from Mikenna.  This is the start to a busy week for us, so hopefully we can carry the momentum from tonight's win throughout the week."
