In the first game with Menahga, the Braves broke the game open in the late innings. OTC led 4-3 in the fourth but Menahga scored 4 runs in that inning, added four more in the fifth and three in the sixth to win by the ten run rule. In the second game, OTC scored six times in the first inning and then held on for the victory, collecting ten hits in the game and playing errorless ball in the field.
Against Pelican Rapids the Bulldogs struggled early to adjust to the pitching speed of Sylvia Pesch. They fell behind 8-0 after three innings and couldn’t recover. Hits in the sixth by Jenna Allen, Amy Worum and Brianna Carter produced two runs for the Bulldogs.
