Yellowjackets Sweep DGF in HOL Baseball Action

Perham recorded a double header sweep of Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton in Glyndon on Tuesday, winning 3-1 and 11-0.

In the opener, Noah Rooney pitched 5 innings, allowing 3 hits and one earned run, while striking out eight batters and walking three.  Michael Benke pitched two hitless innings to earn the save, recording four strikeouts.  Rooney and Carter Mulcahy each drove in a run for the Yellowjackets, while Rooney, Maddux Kovash and Benke scored their runs.

In game two, Perham scored nine of their runs in the fourth inning.  Sam Still (5IP, 2H, 0ER, 3BB, 7K) was the winning pitcher.  Carter Mulcahy and Josh Jeziorski each drove in a pair of runs.  Kovash, Max Tostenson and Steve Lindberg each had an RBI.  Tostenson had two hits in two at bats and scored twice.  Rooney also scored two runs.
