Hunter Norby was the winning pitcher for Ashby. He lasted three innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two.  Torin Olson threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Grant Beuckens took the loss for West Central Area. He allowed three hits and three runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out eight.

Hunter Norby led Ashby with two hits in four at bats.  Carson Spangler had a big 2 out, 2 RBI single to put the Arrows in the lead and Isaac Austendorf had a pinch hit RBI single as well.

“We showed grit tonight and played great defense and had some very clutch hitting and pitching,” commented Ashby Head Coach Jared Larson.  “I’m very proud of our effort tonight,”

One bright spot for West Central Area was a single by Grant Beuckens in the first inning.
