Fergus Falls was one of five teams competing at the Rocori Track and Field Invitational on Tuesday in Cold Spring. The Otters scored 28 points to place fifth. Willmar won the title with 172.5, followed by Detroit Lakes (136.5), St. Cloud Apollo (111.5) and Rocori (105.5).
Robert Sewell was the long jump champion (20-11.50) and took fourth in the 100 meter dash (11.71). Senior Captain Tyler Hansen was fourth (5-08.00) in the high jump, eighth (35-05.50) in the triple jump, and eighth in the 400 meter dash (56.97). Senior Captain Matthew Oehler finished seventh (2:09.16) in the 800 meter run and De’Shawn Wallace placed seventh (10-00.00) in the pole vault.
The Otters were fourth (9:21.02) in the 4x800 meter relay, sixth in the 4x200 relay (1:49.31), sixth in the 4x100 (49.36) and seventh in the 4x400 (4:02.00).
