Aaron Sletten starts his second year as head coach of the Rothsay golf team. The Tigers made school history by winning their first tournament during the 2018 season and were able to place in the top three in most of the tournaments they played in.
“We are extremely young and inexperienced, but we have a good core of young golfers,” said Sletten. “We are going to be starting four seventh and eighth graders out of the six varsity golfers allowed in a tournament lineup.”
The Tigers return senior Braden Moen and junior Ethan Curtis in their boys lineup, with junior Jenna Fabre representing their girls team.
Sletten will be assisted by Tom Jensen.
OTC and Hillcrest are Sletten’s top choices in Section 6A and the Quad County Conference.
