Alena Shores collected 3 hits, including a 2-run homer, and delivered six RBI to lead the offensive attack for B-E.  Haddey Zastrow was 3-for-4 at the plate and Bailey Schaefer went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI.

“This was a great opener to the 2019 season,” said B-E Head Coach Kasi Sieling.  “Mikenna threw extremely well and Bailey called a great game behind the plate.  Offensively, we were aggressive and hit the ball hard.  We have some things to tighten up on the bases and in the box, but overall, I’m very happy with the way we were able to play tonight to start the season off on a good note.”
