The Brandon-Evansville softball team finished last season with a 15-6 overall record, winning the Pheasant Conference title with a 12-2 mark.  With several players returning from that squad the Chargers head into the 2019 season with high expectations.

“I feel we have a good chance to be competitive in our conference and sub-section,” said sixth year head coach Kasi Sieling.  “This is a fun, hard-working, motivated group of girls and I look forward to seeing what they can accomplish.”

The team is led by seniors Kerryn Lund (IF), Christine Roers (OF) and Alena Shores (OF), juniors Kristen Kokett (IF/P), Haddey Zastrow (OF/IF) and Maddie Otto (OF), and sophomores Mikenna Pattrin (IF/P), Bailey Schaefer (C), Kaylee Bitzan (OF/IF) and Korrie Randt (IF/P).

Sieling is also looking to newcomers Morgan Bitzan (SO), Kaytlyn Pattrin (FR), Kiley Lund (FR) and Sydney Schaefer (8th Grade) to step into varsity roles.

Erika Traphagen, Pam Schjei and Dianna Santjer will serve as assistant coaches this spring.
