The Henning Hornets never trailed in their 82-52 victory over Mahnomen-Waubun on Wednesday night in the Section 6A semifinal game played at ‘The Hive’ in Perham.  The win is the 27th of the season, against just one defeat. That loss came in overtime to Parkers Prairie in the last game of the regular season. The Panthers defeated Ortonville 72-56 in the other semifinal and will face the Hornets at 7:00pm Friday for the 6A title at UM-Morris.

Henning had 12 players in the scoring column.  Adam Lange led the rebounding effort for the top-seeded Hornets, chasing down six boards, however, Mahnomen-Waubun won the battle of the boards, 30-25.  Fisher was also instrumental in the victory on the defensive side as the Hornets forced 23 turnovers.
