M State faced one of the top teams in the state on Wednesday night as last year’s NJCAA Division III runners-up, Century College, made an appearance in Fergus Falls.  After falling behind 2-0 with losses of 25-15 and 25-11 in the first two sets, M State rallied for an impressive 25-18 win in set 3.  The Wood Ducks were able to overcome a 22-20 deficit in set four to close out the match with a 25-23 victory over the lady Spartans.

Rausch to Play Pro Hockey in Germany

After one of the most decorated careers in Blugold women's hockey history, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire alumnae Sophie Rausch has signed a professional contract with the Mannheim Mad Dogs of the Deutsche Fraueneishockey-Liga or DFEL, also known as the German Women's Ice Hockey League. The team is part of the EKU Mannheim sports club located in Mannheim, Germany.  See the full story here:
