Fergus Falls Homecoming Weekend included the Fergus Falls High School Hall of Fame Ceremony on Saturday night at the Kennedy Secondary School Auditorium. Distinguished Alumni Tom Hintgen and Jenny (Hyslop) Westrup, joined Jason Retzlaff (Athletics) as the three latest inductees into the District 544 Hall of Fame.
Tom Glorvigen, 1960 Fergus Falls High School graduate, was inducted into the Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce Sports Hall of Fame (Class of 2021) Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Pebble Lake Golf Course in Fergus Falls.
Alexandria junior Hailie Kent placed second in the triple jump (37-06.00) and Fergus Falls had two individuals earn medals at the Class AA Girls State Track and Field Meet on Saturday at St. Michael-Albertville. Senior Svea Smestad placed fifth in the shot put (38-06.25) and junior Ainsley Hansen was fourth in the high jump (5-04.00).
